They praised the strong trade and investment relations between the two countries, highlighting the benefits of the India-Sri Lanka Free Trade Agreement. Discussions included advancing the Economic and Technology Co-operation Agreement (ETCA) with plans for expedited negotiations. The Sri Lankan Minister acknowledged India's efforts to address concerns about non-tariff measures. Both ministers agreed to convene the India-Sri Lanka CEO Forum soon to further enhance bilateral cooperation.
