<h1>Union Cabinet Approves Rs. 10,000 Crore Fund of Funds to Boost Startups and Employment in India.</h1> The Union Cabinet, led by the Prime Minister, approved the establishment of a Fund of Funds for Startups (FFS) at the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) to support startups through contributions to various Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) registered with SEBI. With a corpus of Rs. 10,000 crore, the fund aims to generate employment for 18 lakh people and catalyze Rs. 60,000 crore in equity investment. The initiative, part of the Startup India Action Plan, addresses challenges like limited domestic risk capital and aims to foster innovation-driven entrepreneurship. The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion will oversee its implementation.
