The agreement involves the Government of India and representatives from Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Chandigarh. The total project cost is $113 million, with the remaining $103.07 million funded by the Indian government and state city governments. The project aims to enhance city bus transport efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through national capacity building and demonstration projects in Bhopal, Chandigarh, Jaipur, and Mira Bhayandar.
