of <h1>CBEC Updates Tariff: Brass Scrap Value Raised to $4,495/Metric Tonne; Palm and Soybean Oils Unchanged.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) has issued a notification regarding the tariff values of certain goods. The tariff values for six types of palm oils and crude soybean oil remain unchanged. However, the tariff value for brass scrap, applicable to all grades, has been increased to $4,495 per metric tonne. This adjustment is part of the ongoing updates by the Department of Revenue to regulate and standardize import duties on these commodities.
