<h1>RBI Updates Reference Rate: USD at Rs. 66.5176, Euro at Rs. 75.7303, GBP at Rs. 97.4017, Yen at Rs. 61.96.</h1> The Reserve Bank of India set the reference rate for the US Dollar at Rs. 66.5176 on April 29, 2016, up from Rs. 66.4045 on April 28, 2016. The exchange rates for other currencies against the Rupee were also updated: 1 Euro was Rs. 75.7303, 1 British Pound was Rs. 97.4017, and 100 Japanese Yen was Rs. 61.96 on April 29, 2016. These rates are determined based on the US Dollar reference rate and the middle rates of cross-currency quotes. The SDR-Rupee rate will also be based on this reference rate.
