The Companies Act, 2013, through Schedule VII, outlines the broad areas where companies can focus their CSR efforts. The boards of these companies are authorized to prioritize their CSR obligations based on this list. This information was disclosed by the Minister of Corporate Affairs in a written response to a parliamentary question.
