Additionally, a significant proposal involving Rs. 5856.51 crore in the telecom sector has been recommended for Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approval. Eight proposals have been deferred, including those in insurance and e-commerce, while five were rejected, spanning sectors like tea plantation and trading. Two proposals were deemed outside the Foreign Investment Promotion Board's jurisdiction.
