<h1>New Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies in Indian Rupees Announced by Central Board, Effective August 21, 2015.</h1> The Central Board of Excise Customs has issued a notification under the Customs Act, 1962, determining the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees for import and export purposes, effective from August 21, 2015. The rates differ for imported and exported goods. For instance, the exchange rate for the US Dollar is set at 65.75 for imports and 64.70 for exports. Similarly, the Euro is set at 73.45 for imports and 71.65 for exports. This notification supersedes the previous notification dated August 6, 2015, except for actions already taken under it.
