No Revival Scheme Yet.</h1> As of June 30, 2015, a total of 1,479,374 companies were registered with the Registrar of Companies across various states and union territories in India. Maharashtra, Delhi, and West Bengal had the highest number of registered companies. During the last three financial years and the current financial year up to June 30, 2015, a total of 43,396 companies were closed, with 43,074 struck off and 322 liquidated. Telangana, West Bengal, and Delhi had the highest number of closures. The Indian government has not introduced any scheme for the revival of closed companies.
