In order to assess capital requirement of Public Sector Banks (PSBs), all PSBs have been requested to make presentations to the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance.  Shri Jayant Sinha, Minister of State (Finance) and Secretary (Financial Services) would be present during these meetings.  The schedule of these Presentations is as follows:

Capital requirement assessment: PSBs required to present to the Department of Financial Services under ministerial oversight. Assessment of capital needs for public sector banks will be conducted by requiring all PSBs to make individual presentations to the Department of Financial Services; these regionally scheduled sessions will be attended by senior Ministry of Finance officials, including the Minister of State (Finance) and the Secretary (Financial Services), to inform the Department's capital planning for PSBs.
