In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise & Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 32/2015-CUSTOMS (N.T.) dated the 19th March, 2015 published in the Gazette Of India, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii), Extraordinary vide number S.O.802(E) dated, the 19th March, 2015, namely:-

In the SCHEDULE-I of the said Notification, for Serial No. 9 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

These rates will be effective from 26th March, 2015.

Exchange rate amendment updates Norwegian Kroner import and export conversion rates under Customs Act, effective in March. Amendment under Section 14 of the Customs Act substitutes the Schedule I entry for Norwegian Kroner to prescribe distinct conversion rates for imported goods and for export goods, and states that the revised rupee equivalents will become effective in March 2015 as a further modification to Notification No. 32/2015-CUSTOMS (N.T.).
