<h1>Business Groups Form Electoral Trusts Under 2013 Scheme; Includes Bharti, DLF, Tata, and Independent Trusts.</h1> Certain business groups in the country have established Electoral Trust companies under the Electoral Trust Scheme, 2013, according to the Central Board of Direct Taxes. These trusts include Satya Electoral Trust by Bharti Group, Pratinidhi Electoral Trust by DLF Group, and others linked to major corporations like Tata Sons Ltd., Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, and Bajaj Auto Holdings Pvt. Ltd. Some trusts, such as Bhartiya Socialist Republican Electoral Trust and Swadeshi Electoral Trust, are not associated with any business group. This information was disclosed by the Minister of Corporate Affairs in a written reply to the Lok Sabha.
