of <h1>Customs Act Update: New Exchange Rates for Foreign Currency, Including Norwegian Kroner, Effective March 19, 2015.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has amended the exchange rates for foreign currency under the Customs Act, 1962. The revised rates, effective from March 19, 2015, modify the previous notification from March 5, 2015. Specifically, the exchange rate for the Norwegian Kroner has been updated to 7.65 for imported goods and 7.45 for export goods. These changes are published in the Gazette of India and are intended to reflect the current economic conditions.
