<h1>India-Vietnam Trade Talks Aim for $15 Billion Target by 2020; Focus on Textiles, Pharma, and Agriculture.</h1> The India-Vietnam Joint Sub-Commission on Trade held its second meeting in Hanoi, co-chaired by senior officials from both countries. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in sectors like textiles, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture, following decisions made during a previous high-level visit. The Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister expressed optimism about achieving a US$15 billion bilateral trade target by 2020 and encouraged Indian investment in Vietnam. The Indian delegation, led by a Commerce Secretary, also engaged with various Vietnamese ministers and attended a business event in Ho Chi Minh City to strengthen economic ties. The Sub-Commission was established in 2013 to boost trade relations.
