Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Ltd. (SPMCIL), a Miniratna Category-I CPSE, and wholly owned Schedule ‘A’ Company of Government of India, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) an industrial interface organisation, established as a Registered Society at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) here in recent past. The MoU was signed by Dr Anil Wali, Managing Director, FITT and Shri Rakesh Kumar, Additional General Manager (Technical Operations), SPMCIL. Other attendees included Shri Sanjai Maheshwari, Additional General Manager (Finance), Sh. Manish Shankar, Dy. Gen. Manager (Print), Shri Siddharth Kumar Singh, Sh. Kapil Kumar (from SPMCIL) & Shri P. Somranjan (from FITT) in the presence of Shri M.S. Rana, Chairman & Managing Director, SPMCIL and Shri P.N. Radkar, Director (Technical), SPMCIL.
The MOU has been envisioned to foster collaboration on research, training and professional development and exchange of technical expertise in areas of mutual interest such as material sciences and testing capabilities.
This MOU asserts SPMCIL’s commitment to pursue Research and Development programs and facilitate cooperative initiatives in the area of basic research to increase awareness and information sharing amongst key stakeholders through joint research; workshops and seminars; regional and international forums.
Memorandum of Understanding promotes research collaboration and technical expertise exchange between public enterprise and academic innovation body. Memorandum of Understanding establishes a framework for institutional collaboration between a government-owned public sector manufacturing corporation and an academic innovation interface to pursue joint research, capacity building and technical exchange, committing the parties to cooperate on Research and Development programs, exchange technical expertise, and organise joint research projects, workshops, seminars and participation in regional and international forums to enhance material sciences and testing capabilities.Press 'Enter' after typing page number.
