of <h1>RBI Updates Reference Rates: US Dollar at Rs. 61.6990, Euro at Rs. 71.3302, Pound at Rs. 93.4123, Yen at Rs. 52.68.</h1> The Reserve Bank of India set the reference rate for the US Dollar at Rs. 61.6990 on January 19, 2015, down from Rs. 61.8933 on January 16, 2015. Correspondingly, the exchange rates for the Euro, British Pound, and Japanese Yen against the Indian Rupee were adjusted. On January 19, 2015, 1 Euro was valued at Rs. 71.3302, 1 British Pound at Rs. 93.4123, and 100 Japanese Yen at Rs. 52.68. These rates are based on the US Dollar reference rate and cross-currency quotes. The SDR-Rupee rate will also be determined using this reference rate.
