Reference rate for the US dollar establishes rupee exchange benchmarks and underpins SDR Rupee conversion. The central bank publishes an official reference rate for the US dollar, compares it with the prior day's reference rate, and uses that US dollar benchmark together with cross-currency middle rates to derive rupee exchange rates for the Euro, Pound Sterling, and Japanese Yen; the communique specifies that the SDR Rupee rate will be based on the published reference rate.Press 'Enter' after typing page number.
