The corresponding rate for the previous day (November 17, 2014) was ₹ 61.6780.

Based on the reference rate for the US Dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rate of EUR, GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference rate for US dollar published; cross currency exchange rates and SDR Rupee computation are tied to it. The Reserve Bank publishes the official rupee reference rate for the US dollar and, using middle cross currency quotes, supplies exchange rates for the euro, pound sterling and yen; the SDR Rupee rate is to be based on that published reference rate.
