The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US Dollar is ₹ 61.4118 on November 3, 2014.

The corresponding rate for the previous day (October 31, 2014) was ₹ 61.4080.

Based on the reference rate for the US Dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rate of EUR, GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference exchange rate establishes rupee benchmarks for major currencies and determines the SDR rupee conversion basis. The Reserve Bank of India published a Reference Rate for the US Dollar as the rupee conversion benchmark and, using middle rates of cross currency quotations applied to that reference, provided official rupee exchange rates for the euro, pound sterling and the Japanese yen; it also stated that the SDR Rupee rate will be based on the published Reference Rate.
