The corresponding rate for the previous day (October 21, 2014) was ₹ 61.2967.

Based on the reference rate for the US Dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rate of EUR, GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference rate publication: RBI sets US dollar benchmark and provides rupee cross-currency quotes with SDR basis. Publication of a Reference Rate by the Reserve Bank sets the official rupee benchmark for the US dollar and, using cross-currency middle rates, furnishes rupee exchange rates for the euro, pound sterling and Japanese yen; the SDR Rupee rate will be determined on the basis of the published reference rate.
