<h1>NSDA and World Bank Assess Skill Development Programs in Five Indian States for Effectiveness and Quality Improvement.</h1> The National Skill Development Agency (NSDA), in collaboration with the World Bank, is evaluating the effectiveness of five major skill development programs across India, specifically in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Rajasthan. The schemes under review include the Skill Development Initiative Scheme, Aajeevika Skills Scheme, Rural Self Employment Training Institute, STEP-UP component of SJSRY, and programs funded by the National Skill Development Corporation. Following a Cabinet Committee decision, the National Skill Qualification Framework was introduced to ensure quality in technical and vocational education. This information was shared by the Minister of State for Finance in a Lok Sabha session.
