<h1>No Amendments Planned for CSR Provisions in Companies Act 2013, Says Ministry; No PSU Requests for Revisions Yet.</h1> The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) provisions under the Companies Act, 2013, effective from April 1, 2014, are being implemented for the first time. Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and other companies are expected to report any difficulties in compliance as they gain experience. As of now, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has not received any requests from PSUs to revise the 2 percent CSR requirement. There are no current plans to amend the CSR provisions of the Act, as stated by the Minister of State in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha.
