The Union Finance Minister, Shri Arun Jaitley will hold a Meeting with the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Public Sector Banks and Financial Institutions on Comprehensive Financial Inclusion Plan tomorrow. During the meeting various issues relating to ongoing Financial Inclusion Campaign including role of business correspondents, technology issues and universal access to banking facilities among others will be discussed.
This will be the first meeting of the Finance Minister, Shri Arun Jaitley with the CEOs of Public Sector Banks and Financial Institutions after taking over the charge of the Ministry in May 2014.
Alongwith above, the other issues which are likely to be discussed in the aforesaid meeting include Financial Literacy and Credit Counseling (FLCC), Credit Guarantee Fund, Micro Insurance, Un-organised Sector Pension Schemes like Swavlamban among others.
