The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is Rs.59.2647 and the Reference Rate for Euro is Rs.80.5934 on June 10, 2014. The corresponding rates for the previous day (June 9, 2014) were Rs.59.0605 and Rs.80.6160 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference Rate announcement: RBI publishes exchange rates for major currencies including USD EUR GBP JPY and SDR Rupee basis. The central bank announced the daily Reference Rates for the US dollar and the Euro with prior day comparisons; provided derived rupee exchange rates for the British pound and the Japanese yen based on the dollar Reference Rate and cross currency middle rates; and stated that the SDR Rupee rate will be based on the published Reference Rate.
