The Chief Minster of Tamil Nadu Ms. J. Jayalalithaa called on the Union Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley in his office here today. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minster discussed the financial issues relating to the State of Tamil Nadu with the Finance Minister and senior officers of the Ministry of Finance including Dr. Arvind Mayaram, Finance Secretary and Shri Ratan P. Watal, Expenditure Secretary among others. The Chief Minister was accompanied by the Chief Secretary and other senior officers of the State of Tamil Nadu.

State financial consultation over Tamil Nadu fiscal issues resulted in a meeting with the Union Finance Minister to discuss priorities. Discussion of State financial issues between the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and the Union Finance Minister, in which senior finance ministry officials and state officers participated to deliberate on the State's fiscal concerns and administrative budgetary priorities.
