Various schemes, including the National Horticulture Mission and others, assist entrepreneurs in establishing new facilities. Additionally, the government plans to establish the National Centre for Cold Chain Development (NCCD) as an autonomous center of excellence, with proposed funding of Rs. 25 crore through the National Horticulture Board. This initiative aims to enhance cold chain infrastructure in India, as announced by the Minister of State for Agriculture in the Lok Sabha.
