Automatic exchange of information advances multilateral tax transparency through a new OECD declaration and government statement. Automatic Exchange of Information adoption: Forty-six countries under the OECD framework have adopted a declaration committing to automatic exchange of tax information; the Union Finance Minister issued an official statement publicising the adoption and national response in a press release.
