<h1>RBI Sets New Reference Rates: USD at Rs.60.2250, Euro at Rs.83.4590, GBP at Rs.101.6839, Yen at Rs.58.77.</h1> The Reserve Bank of India set the reference rate for the US dollar at Rs.60.2250 and for the Euro at Rs.83.4590 on May 2, 2014. The previous rates on April 30, 2014, were Rs.60.3375 for the US dollar and Rs.83.3060 for the Euro. Based on these reference rates and cross-currency quotes, the exchange rate for 1 GBP was Rs.101.6839 on May 2, 2014, up from Rs.101.4515 on April 30, 2014. The rate for 100 Japanese Yen was Rs.58.77, slightly down from Rs.58.93. The SDR-Rupee rate will align with the reference rate.
