<h1>RBI Launches 17th Consumer Confidence Survey to Gauge Economic Sentiment in Major Indian Cities.</h1> The Reserve Bank of India has initiated the 17th round of its Consumer Confidence Survey, which has been conducted quarterly since June 2010. This survey collects subjective assessments from approximately 5,400 respondents across six major cities: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and New Delhi. The survey provides insights into economic conditions, household circumstances, income, spending, perceptions on prices, employment prospects, and major purchase plans. The results are utilized in formulating monetary policy. M/s Sigma Research Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is tasked with conducting the fieldwork, and individuals not initially contacted can participate by downloading and submitting the survey form.
