MSEs registered under NSIC's Single Point Registration Scheme benefit from free tender sets, exemption from earnest money, and the opportunity to supply up to 20% of requirements by matching the lowest bid price. The registration of MSEs under this scheme has been increasing, with 8,980 enterprises registered in 2012-13 compared to 7,947 in 2010-11. This data was presented by a government official in response to a parliamentary query.
