<h1>India's Natural Rubber Imports Rise; Customs Duty Revised to 20% or Rs. 30/kg Since December 2013.</h1> The import of natural rubber in India has seen an increase over the years, with 190,692 tonnes in 2010-11, 214,433 tonnes in 2011-12, 217,364 tonnes in 2012-13, and 279,627 tonnes from April 2013 to January 2014. The basic customs duty for dry forms of natural rubber has been set at 20% since January 2004. In December 2010, the duty was revised to 20% or Rs. 20 per kg, whichever is lower. In December 2013, it was further revised to 20% or Rs. 30 per kg, whichever is lower.
