Additionally, 5,000 houses are undergoing repairs, and 6,000 will be constructed through an agency, with 4,000 designated for Indian-origin Tamils in Central and Uva provinces. WAPCOS is the Project Management Consultant for this segment. Previously, 1,000 houses were completed in a pilot project in July 2012, indicating satisfactory progress overall.
