<h1>Government Approves SPV for Solar Power Project in Neemrana, Rajasthan; Advances Green Tech with Japanese Collaboration.</h1> The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the creation of a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to implement and operate a Model Solar Power Project in Neemrana, Rajasthan. This SPV will be a 100% subsidiary of the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC), with a government investment of Rs. 35.34 crore. The project integrates solar power with industrial diesel generators using advanced Japanese technology, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and promote solar technology. Power generated will be sold to NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd, with a portion allocated to industrial consumers in Neemrana Industrial Park. Japan contributes equipment worth Rs. 116.29 crore.
