<h1>India Launches eBiz Portal to Simplify Business Services with Integrated Payments and Licensing Under National eGovernance Plan.</h1> The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion launched the eBiz portal, a key initiative under India's National eGovernance Plan, designed to enhance the business environment by offering comprehensive electronic services to businesses. The platform includes integrated payment capabilities and two DIPP services: Industrial Licenses and Industrial Entrepreneur's Memorandum. It aims to streamline processes such as form submissions, payments, and tracking, shifting from a department-centric to a customer-centric approach. Developed in partnership with Infosys, the project will initially implement 50 services across five pilot states, eventually expanding to over 200 services nationwide over ten years.
