The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is Rs.62.0028 and the Reference Rate for Euro is Rs.85.1855 on December 30, 2013. The corresponding rates for the previous day (December 27, 2013) were Rs.62.0595 and Rs.85.2748 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Note : The SDR-Rupee rate will be based on the reference rate.

Reference exchange rates updated by central bank, with derived pound and yen rupee rates and SDR linkage. Reserve Bank of India published updated reference exchange rates for the US dollar and the Euro, noting changes from the prior reporting day. Using the US dollar Reference Rate and middle cross currency quotes the release provides derived rupee rates for the pound sterling and the Japanese yen, and states that the SDR rupee rate will be based on the Reference Rate.
