The CSR activity is carried out by the CPSEs under this Ministry in accordance with DPE guidelines.
The funds allocated under the Corporate Social Responsibility scheme during the last three years and the current year by the PSUs under Department of Commerce are as under:-

The CSR activities undertaken by PSUs include projects related to health care, infrastructure development, education, mid-day meal scheme for poor children, water management, recycle of waste, fitment of Jaipur Foot/Limbs and Callipers to differently-abled patients/ amputees, natural calamities etc. The states covered under CSR activities are Delhi, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Odisha, Karnataka, Assam, Jammu & Kashmir, Goa, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakand and Uttar Pradesh. Most of the projects undertaken during the current year are in progress.

Corporate Social Responsibility: PSUs under ministry report allocated funds and ongoing community projects across multiple states. Corporate Social Responsibility by CPSEs under the Ministry follows DPE guidelines and reports annual CSR allocations by specified PSUs over four years, with some PSUs showing nil allocations. Reported CSR activities include health care, infrastructure, education, water management, waste recycling, provision of prosthetic aids and disaster relief; projects cover multiple states and most current-year projects are in progress, as stated by the Minister of State.Press 'Enter' after typing page number.
