Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL), a Public Sector Unit under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India was conferred with Engineering Excellence Award (s) 2013 by Engineering Watch in a glittering ceremony held at SCOPE Convention Centre in the national capital. The Modernisation of Ink Factory Project at Bank Note Press, Dewas was conferred with the Second Best Engineering Marvel for Project Innovativeness. Indigenisation of Bank Note Paper production at Security Paper Mill, Hoshangabad and Modernisation of Bank Note Press, Dewas have been awarded under the “Special Mention” Category.

SPMCIL is committed to provide cutting-edge technology to produce national security products like Bank Notes, Coins, passports and indigenise critical raw materials like Bank Note Paper and Inks for these security products, thereby maintaining national financial integrity. This recognition at national stage reinforces SPMCIL’s endeavour and commitment in making India self-reliant in production of state-of-the-art Bank Notes, Coins and Security products.
