The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is Rs. 63.5930 and the Reference Rate for Euro is Rs. 85.1515 on November 12, 2013. The corresponding rates for the previous day (November 11, 2013) were Rs. 63.2955 and Rs. 84.5950 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Note : The SDR-Rupee rate will be based on the reference rate.

Reference rates for major currencies updated, affecting cross currency rupee quotations and SDR rupee valuation, including pound and yen. The Reserve Bank of India published daily reference rates for the US dollar and euro, provided corresponding rupee exchange rates for pound sterling and Japanese yen calculated from the dollar rate and cross currency middle rates, noted prior day figures for comparison, and stated that the SDR rupee rate will be based on the published reference rate.
