The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is Rs.61.9046 and the Reference Rate for Euro is Rs.83.8775 on November 1, 2013. The corresponding rates for the previous day (October 31, 2013) were Rs.61.4100 and Rs.84.1245 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference rate publication: central bank set daily foreign exchange reference rates and derived cross-currency rates for major currencies. The Reserve Bank of India published daily Reference Rates for the US dollar and the Euro, provided previous-day comparators, and set out derived rupee exchange rates for the pound sterling and the Japanese yen based on the dollar reference and cross-currency middle rates; the SDR Rupee rate will be based on the published reference rate.
