The RBI Committee on Comprehensive Financial Services for Small Businesses and Low-Income Households invites suggestions from stakeholders in its first meeting held on September 30, 2013 decided to invite suggestions from various stakeholders with a view to enabling them to share their thoughts on the subject. Interested stakeholders who wish to make a formal submission to the Committee should email it by October 31, 2013.
It may be recalled that the Reserve Bank of India constituted a Committee on Comprehensive Financial Services for Small Businesses and Low-Income Households under the Chairmanship of Dr. Nachiket Mor, Member of the Central Board of Directors, Reserve Bank of India. The Committee has members drawn from the formal financial sector; from organisations that are engaged in developing new models of financial services delivery, in rural as well as urban contexts and have subject matter expertise. Shri A. Udgata, Principal Chief General Manager, Rural Planning & Credit Department, Reserve Bank of India is the Member Secretary.

Stakeholder consultation invited for Committee on comprehensive financial services to enhance access for small businesses and low-income households. The Reserve Bank's Committee on Comprehensive Financial Services for Small Businesses and Low-Income Households has invited written suggestions from stakeholders by email to inform measures for expanding financial services access. The Committee is chaired by Dr. Nachiket Mor, includes members from the formal financial sector and organisations developing new delivery models in rural and urban areas, and is administratively supported by a Member Secretary from the RBI's Rural Planning & Credit Department.Press 'Enter' after typing page number.
