The project aims to consolidate the Central Board of Direct Taxes and the Central Board of Excise and Customs under one roof to enhance efficiency. The Defence Research and Development Organization was appointed for construction, and M/s Vistaar Architects and Planners was selected as the architect. The building will feature energy-efficient, green design elements, including waste management and water recycling systems, to meet modern environmental standards.
