The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is Rs. 61.7480 and the Reference Rate for Euro is Rs. 83.5460 on September 19, 2013. The corresponding rates for the previous day (September 18, 2013) were Rs. 63.1440 and Rs. 84.3675 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference rate updates for major currencies and derived cross currency exchange rates against the rupee. The central bank published the daily Reference Rate values for the US dollar and the euro with comparative figures for the previous day; using the US dollar reference and middle cross currency quotes it provided converted exchange rates for the pound sterling and the yen against the rupee, and stated that the SDR Rupee rate will be based on the published reference rate.Press 'Enter' after typing page number.
