The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is Rs.63.1440 and the Reference Rate for Euro is Rs.84.3675 on September 18, 2013. The corresponding rates for the previous day (September 17, 2013) were Rs.63.3770 and Rs.84.5980 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference exchange rate publication updates US dollar and euro reference rates and provides derived pound and yen rates. The Reserve Bank of India announced the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the euro for 18 September 2013, compared them with the prior day, and, using the US dollar reference and cross-currency middle rates, provided derived pound sterling and Japanese yen exchange rates; it also stated that the SDR Rupee rate will be based on the published reference rate.
