The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is Rs.63.9035 and the Reference Rate for Euro is Rs.84.6510 on September 11, 2013. The corresponding rates for the previous day (September 10, 2013) were Rs.64.2162 and Rs.85.2073 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference rate update: US dollar and euro exchange rates revised, altering cross currency quotes and SDR rupee basis. The Reserve Bank of India published the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the euro on September 11, 2013, giving corresponding previous day rates; using the dollar reference and middle cross currency quotes the release provides derived rupee rates for pound sterling and Japanese yen, and states the SDR Rupee rate will be based on the published reference rate.
