Giving this information in written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha recently, Shri Sachin Pilot, Minister of Corporate Affairs, said that information relating to amounts involved is not maintained in the Registry.
Embezzlement by companies rising; official records show case increases but registry does not maintain amount details. An official disclosure records the incidence of embezzlement complaints against companies over reporting periods showing an upward trend in case counts between April 2009 and June 2013; the registry, however, does not maintain information on the monetary amounts involved in those complaints. of Press 'Enter' after typing page number.
