The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is Rs.66.8875 and the Reference Rate for Euro is Rs.88.0950 on September 3, 2013. The corresponding rates for the previous day (September 2, 2013) were Rs.65.8608 and Rs.87.0575 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference rate publication sets foreign exchange benchmarks and cross-currency derived rates for major currencies against the rupee. The Reserve Bank of India published official Reference Rates for the US dollar and the Euro, compared them to the previous business day to indicate short-term movement, and-using the US dollar Reference Rate with middle cross-currency quotes-provided derived rupee exchange rates for the British pound and the Japanese yen; it also stated that the SDR rupee rate will be based on the published Reference Rate.Press 'Enter' after typing page number.
