The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is Rs.58.9133 and the Reference Rate for Euro is Rs.78.2180 on July 26, 2013. The corresponding rates for the previous day (July 25, 2013) were Rs.58.9415 and Rs.77.8668 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference rate announcement: RBI sets US dollar and euro reference rates with derived GBP and JPY rates. Reserve Bank of India published daily reference rates for the US dollar and euro with prior day comparators, and, using the US dollar reference rate and middle cross currency quotes, provided derived rupee rates for the British pound and Japanese yen; the SDR-rupee rate will be based on the published reference rate.
