Shri M.S. Rana, Chairman and Managing Director, Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Ltd.(SPMCIL) presented a cheque of Rs. 1,94,53,943/- to the Union Finance Minster Shri P. Chidambaram, as a contribution towards Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund in the wake of unprecedented floods in Uttarakhand.

The amount includes Rs. 1.00 crore out of the CSR funds of the Company and Rs. 94,53,943/- contributed by SPMCIL employees as their one day’s salary. Dr. Arvind Mayaram, Secretary, Department Of Economic Affairs, Government of India, Dr. Manoranjan Dash, Director (HR) SPMCIL and Shri P.N. Radkar, Director (Tech) SPMCIL were also present on the occasion.

Corporate Social Responsibility contribution supports disaster relief as company donates to Prime Minister's National Relief Fund. SPMCIL presented a cheque to the Union Finance Minister for the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund for Uttarakhand, funded through the company's Corporate Social Responsibility allocation and pooled contributions of employees' one-day salaries, handed over in a formal ceremony attended by senior government and company officials.
