The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is Rs. 60.1330 and the Reference Rate for Euro is Rs. 76.8915 on July 10, 2013. The corresponding rates for the previous day (July 09, 2013) were Rs. 60.0745 and Rs. 77.4330 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference rate announcement sets official exchange rates and cross-currency references for currency conversion and SDR valuation. The Reserve Bank of India issued the daily Reference Rate specifying rupee exchange rates for the US dollar and the euro on July 10, 2013, with corresponding prior day figures. Based on the US dollar reference rate and cross currency middle rates, the announcement provides derived rates for the British pound and Japanese yen, and states that the SDR rupee rate will be based on the published reference rate.
