The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is Rs. 60.0905 and the Reference Rate for Euro is Rs. 78.0787 on July 04, 2013. The corresponding rates for the previous day (July 03, 2013) were Rs. 60.1005 and Rs. 77.9505 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Note : The SDR-Rupee rate will be based on the reference rate.

Reference Rate publication: RBI released US dollar and euro reference rates with derived cross currency exchange rates. The Reserve Bank published the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the euro, compared them with the previous day's rates, and stated that the SDR-rupee rate will be based on that reference rate; it also provided pound sterling and yen exchange rates derived from the US dollar reference and middle cross currency quotations.
